The future of a free industrious Europe is secured by a safe and autonomous way of using energy. This energy is created, stored, and used sustainably. It has the power to increase our supply security, add high value to European industries, while meeting shared emission targets.

While located in the far northern corner of Europe, Finland is perfectly positioned to serve as the most natural starting point for Europe’s most critical hydrogen-empowered industrial value chains. With less than one per cent of its population, Finland aims to produce at least 10 per cent of the Europe’s clean hydrogen.

Our vision is to establish Finland as Europe’s most competitive hydrogen economy by 2035. Hydrogen Cluster Finland is the driving force making this vision a reality. Our hydrogen economy roadmap provides the concrete guidelines and measures to achieve this ambitious goal. The strategy focuses on critical areas such as boosting the hydrogen market, increasing the availability of clean energy and biogenic carbon dioxide, securing project financing, and pioneering safety standards.
