Hydrogen Cluster Finland opens the doors to European networks
A company-led national hydrogen cluster, Hydrogen Cluster Finland, has been set up to boost the hydrogen economy and the export of hydrogen related solutions. Already 36 companies are involved in the operation of the cluster. Now the aim is to open doors to European networks since in Europe there are plans to invest tens of billions in the hydrogen economy.

A company-led national hydrogen cluster, Hydrogen Cluster Finland, has been set up to boost the hydrogen economy and the export of hydrogen related solutions. Already 36 companies are involved in the operation of the cluster. Now the aim is to open doors to European networks since in Europe there are plans to invest tens of billions in the hydrogen economy.
Systems-level change requires companies from different industries to be involved. There is now a diverse group of companies from the energy, chemical, forest and technology industries. There are global companies, SMEs and startups. The national hydrogen cluster brings actors together and helps to network in Finland, Europe and internationally.
Frist thing, the hydrogen cluster has mapped hydrogen projects under preparation or recently launched in Finland. The projects cover a wide range of areas in the value chain, such as hydrogen production, increasing the industrial use of hydrogen, hydrogen transportation and processing processes, maritime logistics applications, and the development as well as manufacture and commercialization of hydrogen processing equipment and technology. The national hydrogen cluster is also currently working on an overall picture of the strengths of Finland and the companies operating here in developing the hydrogen economy.
