Convion Oy
Convion offers industrial scale high temperature electrolysis and fuel cell systems based on solid oxide cell technology.
Convion is a leading technology company commercializing electrolysis and fuel cell systems based on solid oxide cell (SOC) technology. Convion focuses on system technology and aims at providing key technological solutions enabling sustainable energy transition. SOC technology at the heart of our products has the highest efficiency of converting power-to-gas or gas-to-power. High electrical efficiency and an uncompromising Convion system technology minimize losses of clean energy in conversion and help making green hydrogen competitive as a chemical feedstock or an energy carrier. With a long history and a proven track record of development and deployment of large fuel cell power generation systems for commercial and industrial applications, Convion will bring to market modular steam electrolysis systems to meet growing needs of multi-megawatt green hydrogen applications.
Established in 2012, Convion seeks to work with leading partners in scaling up production, bringing to markets and embedding its products to power-to-X value chains throughout the world.
