Despro Engineering

Despro Engineering Oy is an employee-owned Finnish engineering and consulting company. Founded in 2015 as a power grid design company, Despro has grown into a team of around 200 experts operating across Finland and Northern Europe. The company has achieved annual growth of more than 25% while remaining profitable for five consecutive years.

Over the years, Despro has expanded its expertise in response to the evolving needs of its customers. What started with power grid and substation design soon expanded into telecommunications, followed by renewable energy, industry, data centers, and rail infrastructure. Today, these business areas form a strong and complementary portfolio of services focused on the energy transition and critical infrastructure.

Despro supports its customers throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage studies and planning to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. By bringing together expertise from multiple disciplines, the company can successfully deliver larger and more technically demanding projects while serving as a trusted partner for a wide range of customer needs.
