Ilmatar Energy Oy
Ilmatar, founded in Finland in 2011, is a Nordic energy company and an independent power producer, that focuses exclusively on renewable energy.
The development, construction and maintenance of renewable energy, especially wind and solar power projects form the basis of our business. Taking responsibility over the whole value chain is a unique operating model for an energy company in Finland and Nordic countries. Ilmatar has an extensive project pipeline of onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and battery energy storage in its development portfolio in Finland, Åland and Sweden.
Ilmatar is actively building new business in green hydrogen, PtX and flexibility domains. With a vast pipeline in RES production Ilmatar has a natural role as green electricity provider for PtX projects. Additionally, with a strong background in project development Ilmatar aims to achieve competitive advantage as a project developer and producer of green hydrogen. As a significant player in Nordic renewables market Ilmatar has the capability to offer its renewable electricity production portfolio for green hydrogen and PtX projects and is continuously looking for innovative solutions and cooperation models to implement concrete actions for sustainable future.
