Aurelia Turbines Oy
Aurelia Turbines develops, manufactures and commercialises efficient small gas turbines, especially for small-scale processes and the SME industry. The turbines are equipped with a state-of-the-art combustion system that enables a wide use of different fuels ranging from conventional to low calorific biogases and hydrogen.
Aurelia manufactures the most efficient gas turbines in the world which are capable of using hydrogen as fuel.
Aurelia Turbines is the first company in the world to utilise IRG2-process in its gas turbines. IRG2 stands for “intercooled and recuperated, generator on two shafts” – this process enables high electrical efficiency. The technology is based on high-speed technology and was developed at the Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland.
High-efficient Aurelia® A400 turbines allow flexible small-scale combined heat and power generation. Different kinds of renewable, synthetic and conventional gases and liquids can be used as fuel. High efficiency and choice of fuels guarantee low emissions.
The most typical applications for Aurelia® gas turbines are CHP plants, renewable energy production and the related stabilisation, energy industry processes, etc. Customers include the food industry, process industry, metal industry, feed industry, hospitals, hotels, ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles, and many more.
